Anxiety deprives us of joy and peace. So many things can make us anxious.
It’s the fear that things may not go as planned and uncertainties of what is to come. When am feeling anxious, I turn to the word of God for comfort and reassurance.
There were days I used to wake up and the thought of what lies ahead made me really anxious. Especially when I had huge milestones and tight deadlines. Other times I would be extremely anxious and worried about losing my job.
I wanted change, I refused to be enslaved by anxiety and that is why I have developed the habit of reading comforting bible verses about anxiety as the first thing in the morning.
In this article I compiled 20 comforting bible verses about Anxiety from the New King James Version (NKJV) that help me through my anxiety.

Reassure me of your love,
Bless me with calmness,
Teach me to trust you,
I trust that your will in my life will be done,
I trust that I shall overcome this mountain,
By your Power, I am made strong,
By your Spirit, I am calm & I am peaceful
I will conquer today, I will win.
Thank you Lord.
